faker to fabulous retreat
Join us for a weekend, and explore the experience of the impostor phenomenon. Ditch the myths, hear the facts and learn techniques to manage the fear of ‘intellectual fraudulence’.
Leave in control of your fears, and in charge of your future, with a network to support this new, powerful version of you.
Engage your head, heart & spirit
Imagine this.
The wild and wonderful Tasmanian east coast. A small group of professional women. An evidence-led, group exploration of an experience that can be deeply ingrained, debilitating and ongoing.
But it doesn’t need to be.
A perfect blend of head, heart & spirit.
We’ve spent a lot of time on this challenge. We draw together over 40 years of research, coaching expertise and human-centred intuition. You’ll explore the impostor experience from a robust academic perspective. We’ve taken this research and made it practical with coaching insights and a (re)connection to your spirit.

what you’ll learn
You’ll learn the truth about the experience of the impostor phenomenon. Why do outwardly capable, successful and confident women feel this way? We’ll unpack the fear of exposure.
We’ll explore where it comes from. We’ll explain why it’s a cyclical and often long-term experience. We’ll learn how to diminish the internal narrative that keeps you locked in a cycle of fear. And we’ll explore how the world around you reinforces your perceptions and fears.
what you’ll feel
Feel welcome. Feel safe. Exploring stories and internal narratives that support impostor feelings is key to this weekend. You’ll feel lighter and enlightened by the exploration among new friends.
Enlist your spirit of curiosity, vulnerability, and discovery to embrace an awakened sense of self and being. Carefully curated extra-curricular activities encourage you to explore. Grounded and connected to self, you’ll return home with an elevated appreciation for your capabilities, talents, and potential.

where you'll stay
The idyllic Piermont Retreat sits at the water’s edge on Tasmania’s stunning east coast. Secluded gardens. Lapping waves. Warm, inviting accommodation. Discover the grounds at your leisure. Take a dip in the wild or the pool
(if you dare) and get closer to nature.
Stay in the stunning two-bedroom, two-bathroom ‘Luna’ residence. You’ll have your own private bedroom and bathroom, sharing a lounge and kitchen area. The beach is a short stroll away and the rugged east coast seascape fills the horizon.
Single occupancy cottages (but not in the Luna residences) may be available with an additional single supplement fee. Please let us know if this is your preference and we’ll do our best to find you a suitable room. The availability of single accommodation is limited and is offered on a ‘first in’ basis.
